Order up! It was a tough eating week, with Valentine's day, a lunch date, and date night, but I survived and once again exercised my butt off, with the wonderful Wii. Actually, most of my butt is still there, but at least it is slimming down. Here is my weekly dinner list, followed by my great commentary. Enjoy.
Day: 43
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich with a big glass of milk.
Exercise: 1 hour 15 min Cardio Box class with Vicki at the YMCA
Day: 44
Valentines Day Menu
Exercise: 40 min Wii NFL Training Camp and 20 min Wii Fit
Day: 45
Chilies Rellenos Casserole with a simple salad. This is a odd mix of ingredients in this recipe, but it really works, a perfectly healthy way to fix a Mexican food craving.
Exercise: 40 min Wii NFL Training Camp
Day: 46
Creamy Shrimp Linguine exchange meal from my sister. She used these fabulous noodles, DeCio Pasta, made locally in Tempe.
Exercise: 40 min Wii Gold's Gym Cardio and 1 hour walk on the treadmill at 3.5 mpr
Day: 47
Triple red pork stew with a wonderful glass of Arizona Stronghold Site Archive Syrah.
Exercise: 30 min Wii NFL Training Camp
Day: 48
Going on a date! Irish pub grub with two glasses of beer. Kept the dinner pretty light however, eating out is always tricky.
Exercise: 1 hour Wii NFL Training Camp
Day: 49
Blue Agave Frozen Yogurt.
Exercise: none

Great post! I have been getting inspired by your weight loss challenge this past month. I have had a lot of fun this past year or two exploring craft beers and wines myself, but realize the unhealthy impact it can have when the "few pounds here or the few pounds there" quickly add up. You're making great progress so far, thanks for putting this out there!

I am just glad that I am brave enough to be honest about a topic many people in the food and wine world don't want to talk about. I feel it is so important to have a healthy balance with the two, otherwise you put your health at risk. And my health and well being are more important than an extra glass of wine.
