Join Sonoita's Canelo Hills Vineyard and Winery in celebrating their five year anniversary with a weekend-long celebration! Admission to the anniversary event is free. During tasting room hours each day, the regular wine tasting will include two new wine releases: the 2009 Estate Syrah and 2009 Nebbiolo. Winemaker's tours of the vineyard and winery will be led by Winemaker, Tim Mueller, each hour. For an additional fee, visitors may also taste Canelo Hills' award winning Sonoita wines in a special Reserve Tasting - an opportunity not regularly available to the public. There will also be a limited seating event for after-hours on Saturday, September 22 with a Vertical Tasting of their library Estate wines, the Estate Syrah and Estate Tempranillo wines from the 2006-2009 vintages. Tim will lead guests through a tasting history of the Canelo Hills vineyard's harvests. Guests will also have the exclusive opportunity to take home Vertical Wine Collections of the wines they taste that evening.
The event is limited to 25 people, and reservations are required.
The cost for wine tastings are $10 for regular tastings, $15 for Reserve tasting and $40 for the After Hours Vertical Tasting.
